“My City” was a series by Square, that featured chef Roy Choi visiting small business owners in different neighborhoods in Los Angeles. I worked with Even/Odd to design and animate playful and vibrant graphics for season 1 of the series. Check out the series here.
“My City” Logo
For the series logo, the goal was to design a general “My City” logo that could work for different U.S. cities, and then be customized with city-specific elements. For Los Angeles, palm trees were added to the logo.
Graphics Package & LA Neighborhood Maps
In addition to designing the logo, I also designed title cards and end cards that could exit on different background colors. I also designed and animated maps for the 3 neighborhoods visited in the series, and illustrated landmarks for each of those neighborhoods.
