I want to tell a story visually, and I figured trying to tell a story all within one poster would be a fun challenge, and a good exercise in composition. I want the viewer’s eye to be taken through the scene and immediately understand what is happening, and what will happen. To take it to the next level, I want to add movement to this poster because I need to practice my animation skills. This should look like a movie poster (or book cover) at every moment. It’s in motion but it’s still a poster, so the scene should always make sense and be posed as such. I want to start with a familiar story just for the sake of focusing more on the design and motion graphics. If this experiment/project turns out well, I’d like to make more of these posters with perhaps more obscure stories (as a challenge).
